Learn about C&S Business Solutions History with Founders Mike Sheahan and Shanan Cole (to everyone)

Mike Sheahan and Shanan Cole met while working for a regional chain of Pawn Shops in Western North Carolina. Mike, in the role of e-Commerce Manager, came from a supply chain management background, with a focus on leadership development and training. Shanan, in the role of HR Director, came from a Corporate Human Resources background, with a focus on employee relations, and was able to implement her skills into a smaller regional business model. While working together, Mike and Shanan realized their skill sets complimented each other, and could be used in conjunction to serve a multitude of industries. 

In creating C&S Business Solutions, Mike and Shanan aimed to provide solutions for businesses with two types of opportunities: Those who had gaps in their processes, and who were unsure which first step was needed to solve them. Having extensive backgrounds in their respective fields, C&S Business Solutions knew their skills and services would be beneficial to a variety of industries. The conception of their venture started before the current Covid crisis, so of course once the substantial obstacles from this pandemic became apparent, they wondered; "crazy time to start a new company, right?!?"

Luckily, as problem solvers who operate mean and lean and were looking for more ways to do business outside of the traditional “box”; they were not deterred and created C&S Business Solutions to face the new reality we all must live with. Understanding that starting a business during a global pandemic is no easy task, they also knew that those they aimed to assist would be reeling from this new economic environment. Knowing this, helped them to shape and fashion their focus into giving businesses as many options as are needed to adjust to the changes happening around them. 

Offering access to the full spectrum of Human Resources duties through on-site and virtual options; your team and processes can have the consistency and harmony rarely found in the business world (especially today!). If specific HR duties are needed, instead of the whole treatment, that can be accommodated as well through tiered service plan options, also with on-site and virtual capabilities.

If consistent, on purpose training is a recurring need, they offer multiple training options to fit ongoing, one-time, or “at your own pace” preferences. These training programs have been extensively created with adaptability to every industry in mind and focus on “behavioral training” rather than “just sales”. Keeping adaptability in mind, training programs are accessible through on-site and virtual options.

Sometimes, what’s needed may be unknown. That’s not a problem, as C&S Business Solutions offers free G.A.P.S. assessments to any potential clients. General Areas to Problem Solve, or G.A.P.S., is a proprietary questionnaire curated by C&S to uncover G.A.P.S. in your current processes and discover solutions to remedy them.
